How Big Are They?
It’s body looks like a rectangle. They are little animals. I think they are about the same size as a head.

What Colour Are They?
They are white and black. They have an orange beak.

What Do They Eat?
They eat fish, squid, and shrimp.

Where/How Do They Live?
They live where it is very cold. Mostly, they live in the water. Sometimes they come onto the ice or onto land. They like rocks on the land.

How Do They Move?
They swim in the water. They walk on ice with their two feet. They have two flippers and a tail. They are good swimmers.

Can They Do/Have Anything Special?
They have lots of feathers on their body, and fat under their feathers. The fat part keeps them warm in the cold. The babies have feathers that fall out and then new ones grow. They can swim under the water. They can swim faster than a bike. The babies come from eggs.

How Big Are They? They are about the same size as our chairs.

What Colour Are They? They are black and white. The stomach is white and the back is black. The beak and feet are orange or peach.

What Do They Eat? Penguins eat fish, squid, and shrimp. I don’t like eating fish. Well, except for one that has no bones in it.

Where/How Do They Live? They live where it is cold. They don’t get cold because they have feathers and fat. Penguins live in the water or in rookeries.

How Do They Move? He can move with his feet or with his flippers. Penguins can go underwater. They swim fast. Penguins walk slow. Some jump.

Can They Do/Have Anything Special? Penguins can’t fly because they only got flippers. Penguin babies come from eggs. The eggs are in a nest.
