Franklin Crayola Magic

The children in my class love tactile experiences.  I let them explore with Crayola magic and they loved the texture.  The clay has a special feel that is easy to mold and appropriate for any kind of special creation.  After some exploration we asked the children which Franklin character they wanted to create. We modeled some ways of forming simple shapes and the children shaped their favorite Franklin character.

Once they finished their character we let the Crayola magic air dry for 24 hours.  The children then choose their paint and painted their figures.  You could also use Crayola markers to color them.
