The activity packs
were
sent home with one child each day and were returned to school daily.
The purpose of the activity was to promote literacy activities at home and
for children to relate Franklin's experiences to their own. I had 4
suitcases in total with different stories and activities in each pack.
2 children from each class took it home for one evening and it was
returned the following day. The children took a lot of pride in the
activity bags and anticipated the next day they could take home a
different suitcase.
Student pages:
Franklin had
trouble sleeping in his shell because he was afraid of dark places.
He solved his problem by turning his light on.
If I was lost I
would ask a policeman for help.
